iSlsk has been updated to v0.3.1 as promised, fixing the import freezing bug some people had with v0.3. Sorry everyone for the inconvenience. Go to Installer/Cydia and update your iSlsk package!

EDIT (please read): iSlsk does not have a tag editor because IT’S NOT MEANT TO BE A TAG EDITOR. Will you ever stop asking for that? I will add support for it, but QUIT ASKING ALREADY. iSlsk is a P2P program to download music, please remember that. Any feature not related to it’s main purpose will not be a top priority.

Also, please quit asking for “add video support”. Soulseek is a network mainly for music, you can search whatever you want but if you don’t find the video you are looking for, THAT’S BEYOND MY CONTROL. I cannot do anything about it.

Some people seemed to have problems with v0.3 where music import been freezing and never finishing. This issue has been completely solved and an update fix will be available on tuesday (iSlsk will automatically tell you with a popup alert when it’s ready to be updated).

It’s finally here! Go refresh Installer / Cydia and get the latest version of iSlsk.

Changelog details:

  • The long-awaited alphabetical sorting bug fix. No more artist/song/album crazy-letter-jump in your music player, and if you currently have it all messed up, it will be fixed automatically the next time you import a song.
  • Fixed major problems when trying to import a song with no tag information (blank title, artist and/or album)
  • Automatic backup/restore of your music database -just in case iSlsk import doesn’t work as expected (no, your music files doesn’t get copied twice, only the database file)
  • “What’s new” screen with latest information about iSlsk and other current/future projects
  • “Already donated” button, to enable anyone who donated to get rid of of that annoying message :)
  • Automatic update message alert to tell the user when a new version is available
  • Improved thread synchronization for better stability. In other words, much less random crashes!
  • Added a spinner animation on statusbar to indicate activity while searching for files
  • New, better icon!
  • Other minor bugfixes
